Hi Cathy,
Just wanted to send you an updated photo of Duke!  This is him jumping off a rock into the lake.  He is quite the water dog and loves to swim.  So, we had a lot of fun this summer! 
Good News!  His pano has improved! It never was a huge problem or really severe but we had noticed it a little at times.  We switched his food to Precise Holistic Complete Large & Giant Breed Adult formula.  Not sure if it is the food or just time but he's doing great!  :)

Hi Cathy,
Duke continues to do great and has many fans wherever he goes!  He LOVES playing in the snow and has thoroughly enjoyed going to the cabin!  There is a huge sledding hill there and Duke loves to follow the kids down the hill when they are sledding.  What is so wonderful is that he actually stops when they do and does not run them over them!  :)  The number of times he is able to run up and down the huge hill is unbelievable.
I will write more later but just wanted to give you a very quick update w/ photos!

Duke continues to do great!  Everyone falls in love with him wherever we go and of course, we give them your name.  Thanks Cathy for such a wonderful dog and thank you as well for being there whenever we have any questions!  You're just the greatest and we are so happy to have found you and Duke!

OK!  We've come up with a name (with the kids help)! 

As each of our sons had different names that they loved, we had a little compromise.  His full name is:  SIR DUKE RED NOSE COOPER KINZER!!!!   But, you'll be happy to know, we are are not using his full name...... just DUKE! :)    Red Nose came up b/c a long time ago, when you sent us one picture when he was a pup, there appeared to be a small red dot on his nose, so since then my younger son has thought of him as red nose.  But, DUKE is it and I think it is very fitting!

He is doing great!  A real joy to be around.  Potty training is going pretty well!  He is playing fetch.  Has gone to a soccer practice and was very good meeting new people and a few dogs.  He also met my dad's 4 month old pup.  We kept them on their leashes and he was just great and very calm.  I am taking him to school for the first time today to pick up the kids and then we'll be off to the pet store in town to pick up some more toys for him.  So, so far so good!  :)  You were right that his personality is just great!
